We use professional-grade cameras, lenses, and, if needed, lighting equipment, to ensure the highest quality images. We usually use digital cameras, but enjoy the opportunity to shoot on film on request!
Yes, we offer a range of album and print services to showcase your photos in a beautiful and timeless way.
We only shoot individuals and couples. We are happy to work with older children (14+) under parental supervision. John is DBS checked. Anyone else we employ on shoots involving under-18s will be similarly vetted. We do not shoot larger groups including birthday parties, weddings etc. We do not photograph pets professionally - we do take numerous pictures of cats for fun though(!)
This varies depending on what you have asked us to do. We will always inform you of anticipated delivery dates when quoting for a project. If you have a firm date requirement we will only accept your job if we can be sure of meeting that delivery date.
Usually we only provide clients with the best photos taken during the shoot (post-editing). This is to protect our brand. We are perfectionists, and only provide you with images that meet our high standards. The only situation in which all media are provided to a client is when it has been agreed that this will happen before the shoot; for instance when we shoot with VIP clients who do not wish any media to be taken away by us after the shoot for reasons of security.
Yes, sometimes! It doesn't pay the bills, but it's also less restrictive than commercial work - and gives us the opportunity to experiment - photography is an artform, and we enjoy doing what we like sometimes; not just what we're paid for! If you have a proposal - or if we've approached you for TFP work - we'll happily fulfill any commitment we make to you without charge. Please be aware though that commercial work has to take priority, so we do not commit to delivery dates on TFP work. We will of course try to give you an idea of when to expect images to be delivered.
